NorthEast Education Initiatives (NEEI), publicly known as NEED Initiatives, is a Pennsylvania-based recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit , dedicated to improving educational equity across the Northeast.

Our mission is simple: see a need, fill a need—especially for families who shouldn’t have to fight alone or pay out of pocket just to get their child basic support at school.

We help families understand and prepare for IEPs, 504 Plans, school safety concerns, disability access, visual impairment/CVI-related needs, discipline processes, and other barriers that affect a student’s education, safety, dignity, and support.

Your donation helps us build no-cost navigation, advocacy preparation, accessible resources, and community partnerships so students are not left without the help they need.
